Each SAM system is designed to adapt and assist, working with proprietary Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) software to deliver a suite of ground-breaking functions. Allow AutoCal™ to ensure your monitoring system is perfectly calibrated to your listening environment, compensating for detrimental room influences to create a truly optimized monitoring solution. Use GLM to manage up to 30 Smart monitors and subwoofers, allowing you to mix the way you want, from simple stereo to ambitious immersive audio setups. Designed to adapt, Genelec’s Smart Active Monitor (SAM™) Compact range draws on a suite of technologies to make the most of all modern acoustic environments.

As studio space becomes limited and listening areas more confined, so recordings are taking place in a wider variety of locations, many with minimal acoustic treatment. The Smart monitors and Smart subwoofers of the Compact Series are designed to adapt and assist. SAM Systems can be controlled via Genelec proprietary Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) network and software, enabling you to build a highly flexible and reliable monitoring system.

The GLM 3 software is a highly intuitive and powerful monitor control networking system that manages connectivity to all SAM studio monitors and subwoofers on the network – up to 30. The GLM 3 software features adjustment of levels, distance delays and flexible room response compensation equalization with the state-of-the-art and robust AutoCal™ automated calibration system. All parameters and settings are stored in system setup files or saved in each individual monitor or subwoofer if the GLM network needs to be disconnected.

Also, all acoustical features of SAM Systems can be optimized for different working styles or client demands.
