Nothing is worse than buying a brand new product and finding out there’s something wrong with it. It’s extremely rare, but it does happen . . . DON’T PANIC! With our Platinum Warranty, replacement packages under 15 pounds are shipped to you OVERNIGHT AT OUR EXPENSE!
In the unlikely event that you receive a defective unit, call our tech department and discuss the situation with them. Once you have had a chance to make sure that there is a problem that can't be solved by telephone, we will email you a return authorization. Carefully repack your product with all of the original packing materials, ship it back to RSPE, and we’ll send you a brand new unit once your product has been inspected and tested (some exclusions may apply due to special orders, custom orders, oversize products, or product availability. Products returned that are not in the original factory-new condition, may only be eligible for repair instead of replacement ). All returns must be pre authorized.
Special tip: Try out your unit before you put it in the rack to make sure there’s no scratches. A restocking fee may apply to new units not returned in original factory condition.
Platinum Warranty on Pre-Owned Purchases
Under the coverage of our Platinum Warranty, all pre-owned products are fully tested by our expert technicians. RSPE covers return ground freight PLUS parts and labor (or product replacement), for six months. Certain items are covered for three months, such as those items with motorized parts or delicate construction. This warranty covers normal use only. Damage from misuse or loss is not covered under the Platinum Warranty.

Industry veteran, Russ Belttary, founded RSPE in 1991 when Pro Tools 1.0 had just been released. Quickly realizing its’ potential to revolutionize video post, Russ immediately began working with the Hollywood post-production community, innovating new ways to integrate Pro Tools with video production way before synchronization with film became available. At that same time, top recording studios were discovering the capabilities of digital editing but were afraid to leave the comforts of working with analog tape. Two things made the transition easy. Raw fingers from a night of editing 2" tape with razor blades with takes lost forever, and RSPE’s vision and tireless dedication to making Pro Tools the industry standard for both music production and video post. Since then, we have sold Pro Tools systems, and countless units of outboard gear and recording consoles.
