Quested SB10R MkII Active 10" Subwoofer & Controller

10" Active subwoofer that is the perfect compliment to any Quested S Series monitors!

The Quested SB10R Subwoofer is designed to be used with any S Series studio monitors and will extend system frequency response down to 20 Hz and increase the system's maximum SPL. The filter bypass on the left channel optimizes the SB10R's performance when it is used as a dedicated LFE monitor in a multi-channel system. With the 2-in 2-out bass management, a single SB10R can reinforce a stereo pair of full range cabinets. A long throw 10" cast chassis driver is mounted in a tuned cabinet constructed of 26 mm MDF.

Unlikemost subwoofer that house the amplification and drivers in one cabinet, the SB10R houses the 215W RMS amplifier and 2-channel SB10R controller in a separate, single 1U rack space unit. The Remote Power keeps the electronics independent from the drive unit and stops the adverse effects caused by LF vibrations. Also, calibration and operation of the SB10R controller can be done on the rack unit, so you don't have to crawl behind a subwoofer to make changes.

The S Series can be used in various configurations from a standard 2.0, to the most complex multi- channel formats. With a match input sensitivity selector on the rear panel, various S Series cabinets can easily sit in the same system. The S6R, with its infinite baffle design, makes partnering to the SB10R Sub a very easy process. As with all Quested products, the S Series is hand built by a small dedicated team in England.
