The Quested S7R Active Studio Monitor is a compact, yet extremely powerful, neutral, articulate and accurate monitor perfect for a wide range of music styles from acoustic jazz to house. Designed to be compact yet offer a bass extension that won't require a sub for the majority of monitoring situations, but if you must, S7R integrates perfectly with SB10R subwoofer taking the frequency response down to 27Hz. The S7R is fully magnetically shielded, so can be used in close proximity to CRT monitors. All S-Series monitors are phase coherent with each other enabling them to be used in combination in 5.1 multi-channel systems Some typical applications include components in multi-channel systems, postproduction, project studios, location recording, and mastering.

S7R incorporates a 6.5” low frequency driver with a double flared front loaded port design, which means reduced turbulence and a monitor that is very forgiving of placement to walls. The built in amplification provides a total of 190W RMS to the drivers, split with 120W RMS to the 6.5” LF driver and 70W RMS to the silk dome tweeter. Attenuation to the input sensitivity along with low and high frequency is available on the rear panel. The operating range is 65 Hz – 20 kHz with a +- 2db tolerance.

The S Series can be used in various configurations from a standard 2.0, to the most complex multi- channel formats. With a match input sensitivity selector on the rear panel, various S Series cabinets can easily sit in the same system. The S6R, with its infinite baffle design, makes partnering to the SB10R Sub a very easy process. As with all Quested products, the S Series is hand built by a small dedicated team in England.
