SPL Passeq Passive Mastering Equalizer

Passeq is the most powerful passive EQ ever made with a total of 36 boost and 36 cut frequencies and a Q-factor that is musically adjusted for each selectable frequency.

The SPL PASSEQ is a dual-channel passive mastering equalizer that features Air band, a stepped output control ranging from -10dB to +10dB and a mid cut band now starting at 200Hz. An update to first generation Passeq, which was the first passive equalizer that offered high, mid and low band with individual boost and cut and with 12 selectable frequencies per band. SPL have upgraded the capacitor arrays in the filters with custom-made single capacitors and optimized the bandwidth per frequency range.

The superior sound qualities and musical characteristics of passive filters ideally meet increasing demands in creating manifold sound colors full of character. In the HiFi domain, the Passeq is the high-end EQ beyond doubt – a perfect tool to solve room acoustical problems by the turn of a knob or improve the sound of old, or inferior, sources.
