The Soyuz 013 FET is a small diaphragm condenser microphone that features the same cardioid capsule as Soyuz's 011 tube microphone but with a FET pre-amp. Soyuz worked very hard to develop their own proprietary transformer, which gives the 013 FET a rich and beautiful sound.

The 013 FET's classic internal transformer design creates a detailed sound that is robust in the lower frequencies, rich in the midrange, and silky smooth in the upper register.
