The LCD-4 headphone is thoroughly engineered and meticulously hand-built using the finest, most luxurious materials combined with cutting-edge planar magnetic technology. It takes four weeks to finish the beautifully-finished 30-year-old Macassar Ebony wood rings, a dense finely-textured hardwood with a very smooth finish when polished. We closely match transducers, then match our rings by grain and color. We match earpads by leather texture and color. Choose real lambskin leather or microsuede headbands. The earpads are filled with carefully chosen acoustical foam.
