Avid Master Joystick Module for S4 / S6

Mix surround sound and immersive audio projects, including Dolby Atmos, using dual touch-sensitive joysticks, with TFT and OLED displays, to position sounds with precision.

The Avid Master Joystick Module is an option for both S4 and S6 systems and offers dual non-motorized, touch-sensitive joysticks for surround sound mixing, enabling you to position sound anywhere within a room. A 3.2-inch TFT display shows current pan and joystick locations. The module also features two multicolor LED top-lit encoders, 16 panning mode switches with color LEDs, and other panning control switches for controlling positioning, divergence, and more with precision. Plus, four OLED displays provide detailed visual feedback and info. The Joystick Module can also be used to control any other knob parameter on S4 and S6 S6 to create a wide range of effects.

The Master Joystick Module offers hands-on control over surround sound mixes and enables mixing engineers who work on the S4 or S6 console to position sounds anywhere within a room without looking down from the big screen. Mixers can grab both joysticks with one hand to control a pair of sounds together, while the other hand is free to control other elements, such as the LFE level. The module can also be used to control any other set of knob parameters on S4 and S6 to create a wide range of effects.
