Pro Tools 2022.4 is here and includes new features, new virtual instruments, and three new Pro Tools Tiers: Pro Tools Artist, Pro Tools Studio, and Pro Tools Flex.
With Pro Tools 2022.4 Avid have shaken up their product lineup by introducing three new Pro Tools tiers, including a new lower-cost option for aspiring producers. Avid are also continuing their push towards a subscription model.
We won't bury the lede, perpetual licenses will no longer be available for purchase going forward (we may still have some in stock, contact us for availability). Existing perpetual licences will, of course, continue to function and Annual Perpetual Upgrade & Support plans will continue to be available.

Pro Tools Flex
For audio post facilities/high end music professionals and studios
Pro Tools Flex replaces Pro Tools Ultimate, providing full track and I/O counts, Pro Tools | HDX workflows, Dolby Atmos tools, and advanced features to take on the biggest music and audio post productions. If you're currenly on a Pro Tools Ultimate subscription you'll automatically be upgraded to Pro Tools Flex.
Pro Tools Flex is available by subscription only, with new subscriptions at $999 annually and renewals at $799 annually.
If you're on a Pro Tools Ultimate perpetual upgrade & support plan, you can continue to extend your plan or reinstate an expired plan. Your plan will be automatically entitled to new features in Pro Tools Ultimate software but not the additional content bundled with Flex. Pro Tools Ultimate Upgrade & Support plans will remain available and are priced at $749 to "get current", and $399 for annual renewals.

Pro Tools Studio
For serious music artists, producers, and engineers
Pro Tools Studio replaces standard Pro Tools as the core of a complete music production system, providing the creative canvas to produce larger, more compelling music with ease. Get the advanced features professionals need to take projects further, including double the audio track count of the previous Pro Tools software, plus surround and immersive audio mixing capabilities.
Pro Tools Studio is available by subscription, with new subscriptions at $299 annually and renewals at $299 annually.
If you're on a Pro Tools perpetual upgrade & support plan, you can continue to extend your plan or reinstate an expired plan. Pro Tools Upgrade & Support plans will remain available and are priced at $349 to "get current", and $199 for annual renewals.

Pro Tools Artist
New lower-cost option for aspiring music creators, songwriters, and producers
