Like its big sibling FELiX, the Grace Design ALiX is built into a roadworthy chassis, portable enough to throw in your bag or strap to your pedalboard, but still deliver studio-quality sound to the stage. With the same stunning audio performance and legendary reliability as Grace Design's professional audio range, ALiX brings open, musical, and nuanced sonic character to any performance situation.

Precision EQ and Tone Shaping

The ALiX features the same powerful and intuitive EQ section as the FELiX, allowing for detailed tone shaping and feedback suppression.

• High-Pass Filter (HPF): Cuts 12 dB per octave from 20 Hz to 1 kHz. Can also be set as a notch filter for chasing down problem feedback or rumble areas (selectable via side-panel DIP switch).
• Parametric Midrange: Covers from 70 Hz all the way to 8 kHz (frequency range is selectable via side-panel DIP switch).
• Fixed Controls: Fixed Low and High controls are carefully voiced for musical shelving cut and boost of bass and treble. High-frequency and low-frequency shelving cut and boost.

Pro Features and Connectivity

The ALiX is packed with professional-grade features designed for reliability and seamless stage integration.

• Input Impedance: Features 3 input-impedance settings to accommodate a wide range of pickup types—contact mics, piezo transducers, magnetic pickups, active electronics.
• Isolated DI Output: The isolated DI output, featuring a custom-wound transformer, delivers stunning clarity and bass response with incredibly low noise.
• Amplifier Output: A dedicated, level-controlled amplifier output can be used to drive a stage amp or personal monitor.
• Phantom Power: 12 V phantom power is available in the line input for electret and lavalier mics (on/off controlled by side-panel DIP switch).
• TRS Insert: A global TRS effects-insert jack is included for inserting outboard processors into the signal chain.
• Power Output: Includes a 9 VDC / 500 mA BOSS™ style pedal power output jack so you can power your tuner and effects right from the ALiX.
• Power Supply: Universal 100-240 VAC power supply with standard IEC cable.

Footswitch Control and Usability

Controls are dead simple and clearly marked for easy reading and tweaking, even on a dark stage.

• Mute / Tune Footswitch: Mutes all outputs except the dedicated tuner output and headphone output.
• Boost Footswitch: Activates the variable boost circuit, which provides up to 10 dB of clean gain (global).
• Phase Reverse: Includes a phase-reverse switch.
• Build Quality: Features 1/4" connectors with heavy-duty metal bushings and a light and rugged roadworthy chassis.
