• Architecture: Features fast and musical transimpedance architecture with incredible bandwidth and headroom.
• Precision Components: The circuit path and updated audio path are built with 0.5% precision metal film resistors.
• Gain: A wide 10 dB to 75 dB gain range is available, utilizing a precision gold-plated 12 position rotary switch plus an output trim control.
• Power Supply: Equipped with a new, dead-quiet universal switching power supply (no wall-wart required) that accepts input voltages from 100 to 240VAC.
• Output: Features a high-performance output line driver amplifier and HPF amplifier, alongside enhanced RFI interference suppression.

• Ribbon Mic Mode: Built in as standard is the unique Ribbon Mic Mode (also great for dynamic mics). This mode uses a relay to bypass the input decoupling capacitors, raises the input impedance from 8.1k $\Omega$ to 20k $\Omega$, and defeats the 48V phantom power, preventing damage to delicate ribbon mic elements.
• HI-Z Input: Includes a convenient HI-Z input on the front panel, switchable via a sealed gold contact relay, making it an excellent instrument preamp.
• I/O Options: Comprehensive rear panel output options include standard XLR balanced out, TRS balanced 1/4” out, and unbalanced TS 1/4” out, along with the XLR microphone input.
