PMC ci140: Custom Install Passive Speaker

The PMC ci140 is a premium, high-resolution custom installation loudspeaker designed to serve as the main monitor (LCR) in large-scale Dolby Atmos® and immersive audio facilities. Utilizing a sophisticated array of four bass drivers and PMC's advanced mid-range dome, the ci140 delivers massive headroom and exceptional dynamics for critical playback environments.

Dolby Atmos Applications

The ci140 is a custom install loudspeaker, ideally suited for use as LCR (Left-Center-Right) channels in large Dolby Atmos® mix rooms or as high-SPL surround channels. Its powerful driver configuration ensures it delivers the full dynamic range and exceptional detail required for the most demanding professional film and music post-production work.

ATL™ and Laminair™ Technology

The source of PMC’s legendary natural, realistic sound is the Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) bass technology. This system uses bass energy in a more intelligent and efficient way than conventional ported or sealed box designs, delivering:

• Greater detail and more natural sound.
• A full, rich sound at any volume level.
• Deeper bass from a smaller cabinet.

The Laminair™ aerodynamic vent enhances the ATL further by reducing turbulence and drag at the transmission line exit. This high-performance engineering ensures:

• Faster, cleaner bass and higher definition sound throughout.
• Elimination of air noise, leaving only the music.
• Higher maximum output and bass with supreme timing and dynamics.

Installation Flexibility

The ci140 is specifically designed for in-wall mounting, providing maximum acoustic performance without taking up valuable floor or control room space.

• In-Wall Mounting: Unlike the smaller ci models, the ci140 is optimized for in-wall installation and does not feature the Qikfire™ system or the optional on-wall sleeve mounting.
• Cabinet Design: Its large form factor is engineered for integration behind acoustic treatments, ensuring a flush and seamless appearance.
