PMC ci90slim: Custom Install Passive Speaker

The PMC ci90slim is a high-resolution, slim-profile custom installation loudspeaker, featuring an advanced driver array and PMC’s proprietary acoustic technologies. Its narrow form factor allows it to be discreetly mounted in-wall, in-ceiling, or on-wall, making it perfectly suited for tight spaces without compromising audio fidelity.

Dolby Atmos Applications

The ci90slim is a custom install loudspeaker, perfectly suited for use as surround or height channels in any medium-to-large Dolby Atmos® mix room, particularly where wall cavity depth is limited. Its slim design allows for vertical or horizontal placement as LCR (Left-Center-Right) monitors in smaller control rooms, delivering PMC's characteristic high-headroom and detailed sound for critical listening.

ATL™ and Laminair™ Technology

The source of PMC’s legendary natural, realistic sound is the Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) bass technology. This system uses bass energy in a more intelligent and efficient way than conventional ported or sealed box designs, delivering:

• Greater detail and more natural sound.
• A full, rich sound at any volume level.
• Deeper bass from a smaller cabinet.

The Laminair™ aerodynamic vent enhances the ATL further by reducing turbulence and drag at the transmission line exit. This high-performance engineering ensures:

• Faster, cleaner bass and higher definition sound throughout.
• Elimination of air noise, leaving only the music.
• Higher maximum output and bass with supreme timing and dynamics.

Installation Flexibility

The ci90slim, along with the other ci models (excluding the ci140 and ci140sub), is designed for versatile mounting applications thanks to the proprietary Qikfire™ fittings and optional accessories.

In-Wall Mounting

• Qikfire™ System: The speaker is fitted with the patented Qikfire™ spring-loaded mounting system. This makes installation "installer-friendly," allowing the loudspeaker to be fixed or removed with a simple twist of a screwdriver.

On-Wall Mounting

• Mounting Bracket: For on-wall applications, a supplied interlocking bracket ensures straightforward installation with precise level adjustment.
• Optional Sleeve: An optional mounting sleeve (sold separately) in white or black may be fitted around the cabinet to conceal the in-wall mounting system, creating an elegant and discrete on-wall loudspeaker solution.
