The Genelec GLM 2.0 User kit is a powerful loudspeaker management system for all Genelec Smart Active Monitor (SAM™) systems that provides control over every aspect of any Genelec SAM product that is connected on the Genelec network. GLM 2.0 Software is available for Mac and Windows operating systems.

AutoCal™ provides the industry’s first integrated process for complete automated measurement, analysis and adjustment of every monitor on the network, which can automatically optimize and align each monitor and subwoofer for relative levels, time of flight, subwoofer crossover phase as well as individual room response compensations.

GLM 2.0 simple, intuitive, but yet feature-rich user interface allows fast setting up and calibration procedures. GLM 2.0 allows your monitoring system to adapt to different room acoustics, providing neutral, accurate, reliable sound reproduction, reducing perceived differences between listening environments or positions, and allowing a monitor to be turned into the reference it needs to be for the challenging and complex tasks encountered by engineers today.

About Genelec Speakers

All models share the same neutral sound characteristics. The monitors are always delivered as a complete factory aligned system consisting of all amplifiers, crossover electronics and speaker cabinets. Each loudspeaker drive unit is powered by its own, matched amplifier channel. Amplifier and respective drive unit are directly coupled to avoid passive crossover distortions. The active electronic crossover unit operates at low signal levels and is built into the system preceding the power amplifiers. The crossover amplitude and phase responses are optimized for each particular model to achieve highly accurate system performance. All systems feature drive unit protection circuitry for reliable operation while maximizing system sound output. All systems are equipped with versatile room response adjustments. The acoustic performance is optimized for both on-axis and off-axis listening with proprietary Directivity Control Waveguide™ (DCW™)
