Pro Tools Ultimate Subscriptions Are Back With Lower Prices

Avid have just announced that Pro Tools Flex will be renamed back to Pro Tools Ultimate. These new Pro Tools Ultimate Subscriptions will have a lower price of $599 annually, while Pro Tools Flex cost $999 for the first year and $799 for renewals.

 

Previously Pro Tools software delivered with the “Flex” tier was actually a Pro Tools Ultimate annual subscription with extra “Flex” 3rd Party Software. To simplify the Pro Tools Lineup, Avid is dropping the “Flex” tier and selling Pro Tools Ultimate annual subscriptions and subscription renewals as standalone products once again. 

 

When available, the 3rd party post solutions content previously intended to be included with “Flex” will be made available as a separate subscription purchase(s).

 

Extra Year of Subscription to current Flex Subscribers

The good news is if you purchased a new $999 Pro Tools Flex Subscription since its introduction on April 26, 2022 , you will automatically receive an additional year of subscription added to your Avid account at no charge. All customers receiving an additional year will be notified directly by Avid via email and Avid Link.

 

More Content for Pro Tools Perpetual License Owners

All additional content that was previously only available to subscribers, including the Inner Circle rewards, has now been made available to all Pro Tools license holders (subscription and perpetual). You should now see that content in your My.Avid account.
